Handcrafted Sterling Silver Sea shell with oval belcher Chain

This pendant is a beautiful piece by Eamon which was crafted using a traditional technique which travels back through time. The process is done by sand casting the shell by taking an impression first, and then filling the Mold with sterling silver. It can take a couple of attempts to fire the mold to get it just right with high heat, and molten silver.

The piece is then pickled clean and filed using jewellers files and sanding sticks. I then solder some half round jump rings which i crafted from sterling silver half round wire. and solder all components together.
